Dr Mpofu has spent 23 years at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe where he has gained considerable senior management experience and advisory expertise in financial sector, foreign exchange, foreign investment deals, exports and imports, structured trade and investment finance and international banking. He joined the Reserve Bank in March 1991, as an Economist, after a short engagement with the then ANZ Grindlays Bank, now Stanbic Bank.  He has worked in the Economic Research and Policy, Balance of Payments, Monetary Sector, External Debt and Exchange Control Divisions of the Bank.  Dr. Mpofu is currently the Reserve Bank Director of Zimbabwe’s Exchange Control Division.
Dr Mpofu is the Deputy Chairman of Homelink (Pvt) Limited, having served as its Chief Executive Officer from inception in 2005 and Deputy Chairman from 2007-2014. Dr Mpofu has also been Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of Finance and Audit Committee for ZIMTRADE, former Non-Executive Director of Cairns Holdings (Pvt) Ltd and Tuli Coal, and the Chairman of Bio-Diesel Company of Zimbabwe (Transload Enterprises). Dr Mpofu was a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of Finance and Investments Committee for Zimbabwe Mining and Development Corporation (ZMDC) for 2011-12. Non-Executive Director and Chairperson of Finance and Investments Committee for Minerals marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ) for 2012-13.He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe (1990) and a Master of Science degree in International Economics, Banking and Finance from Cardiff Business School (1995), University of Wales (UK). The Dissertation for the MSc Course was a study on the Competitiveness of Zimbabwe’s Export Sector. Dr Mpofu holds a Phd Thesis on The Impact of Capital Restrictions on Foreign Investment in Zimbabwe.

Dr Mpofu is also a regional consultant for Southern African Development Community (SADC), Development Finance International (DFI.UK) and the Macroeconomic Management and Financial Institute of Southern and Eastern Africa (MEFMI) on Private Capital Flows, Foreign Investment and International Remittances.

He is also a Graduate Fellow of the Macroeconomic Management and Financial Institute (MEFMI) and was attached to the World Bank’s Financial Products and Services Department in 1999, also attended courses in balance of payments with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Dr Mpofu has worked on various national and regional assignments, with organizations such as MEFMI, Development Finance International (DFI) and Southern African Development Community (SADC). Dr Mpofu has done international and regional professional consultancy work on ‘Private Capital Flows’ and “Workers’ Remittances” for MEFMI and DFI in Swaziland, Ghana, Zambia, Malawi, Gambia, Rwanda and Tanzania. He is Chairman of the SADC Exchange Control Technical Group and Chairman of the SADC Training and Development Forum, under the SADC Committee of Central Bank Governors (CCBG).
Dr Mpofu has been part of Government of Zimbabwe’s Loan Negotiation Missions to China and South Korea. He has also been part of Government’s Foreign Investment Missions to USA, United Kingdom, India, Belgium and South Africa.  Dr Mpofu is Chief Negotiator for the Master Loan Facility for Government with Export-Import Bank of China.

He was also part of the Government Team working on the resuscitation of ZISCOSTEEL, and investment into ZMDC, and visited Steel Plants in India, Belgium, South Africa and China conducting a due diligence for potential investors.



Mrs Chorwira was appointed substantive CEO for the Homelink Group effective 1 August 2014.
Prior to her appointment, Mrs Chorwira was the Operations Director since February 2011, a position she attained after having worked as the Head of Investments and Money Transfers following her secondment in December 2005 from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.

She has 24 years’ experience in the Financial Sector. Mrs Chorwira joined Exchange Control in 1990 as an Analyst and rose to the position of Senior Analyst before moving to the Financial Markets Department as a Disbursement Officer. A year later she joined the Apex Unit as a Senior Project Analyst and was involved in the setting up of the Unit and its systems. Stella rejoined Exchange Control in 2002 as Head of Analysis & Assessments, responsible of foreign exchange payments.

Mrs Chorwira holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Banking & Finance) from the University of Wales Bangor & Manchester Business School, United Kingdom. She is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and the Institute of Bankers.



Dr Mutema is a property (real estate) and construction management expert. He is passionate about property development and investment.

He holds several qualifications in real estate, land management and construction management from top international institutions. He is a Fellow of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (FZweIE) and is a professional member of several key professional bodies, both local and international, that have to do with real estate/property, land management, construction management, rural and urban planning.

He is a qualified chartered surveyor.



Ms Mukondiwa is the School Administrator for Hillcrest Schools (Pvt) Ltd, a position she held since 2012. She is an ex-officio member of both Hillcrest Primary and High School Management Committees and sits on the Finance Committee. She has strong background in administration and finance after working for Pump Aid Malawi and Pump Aid Zimbabwe as Finance and Administration Manager from 2008 to 2011 before moving to Hillcrest. She rose through the ranks from Cost Accountant to Group Accountant within Border Timbers Limited from 1991 to 2007.

Ms Mukondiwa graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy Honors Degree from the University of Zimbabwe.



Mr Allana is the Director of Finance at Topline Holdings, a Zimbabwean company specialising in operations management, web development and implementation of customised financial software systems. He is also Chief Operations Officer of Allbro Agencies (Pvt) Ltd. Furthermore, Mr. Allana is an executive board member of Elite Group of Companies as Chief Operations Officer.
He once worked for Zoomwise in the UK as Information Technology Analyst. Before joining Zoomwise, Mr. Allana worked for Bellmore Limited, a UK based commodity broking company. He was responsible for managing database, web development and support and maintenance. He is also Director of Fixmar Investments (Pvt) Ltd, a commercial and residential property development company.
Mr Allana is studying towards a PHD in Finance with Aston Business School.

He holds a Masters in Science in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelors of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Science from Aston Business School.



clip_image003_0000Mr Gwenzi has extensive working experience in the real estate business with special focus on land acquisition, construction project management, and mobilisation of project finance, property management and valuation. He is a former Director of Housing and Community Services of Chitungwiza Municipality. During his tenure, he actively participated in the formulation of the turnaround strategic plan for the local authority and coordinated formation of partnerships in infrastructural development and service delivery.

Prior to that, he had achieved over 12 years working experience in Central Government in the Valuation and Estates Management Department of the Ministry of Local Government, Public Works and National Housing where the rose through the ranks to the position of Deputy Director, Valuation and Estates management. In addition to improving efficiency in the general administration of the department, he successfully accomplished delivery of major national and international real estate projects that were assigned to him. He had previously worked for District Development Fund (Mashonaland East) as a Planning Officer.

Mr Gwenzi holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Rural and Urban Planning from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Science degree in Construction Project Management from the National University of Science and Technology (Dissertation: Strategies adopted by construction companies in managing risk in Zimbabwe), as well as a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of Zimbabwe (Dissertation: Establishing a healthy organisational culture). He is a member of the Zimbabwe Institute of Housing.


clip_image004Mr Bindura is the Money Transfer Manager. Prior to his appointment, Mr Bindura held many positions. From (June 2003-Dec 2004) he was the Exchange Control Analyst at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. He became an Investment Executive for Homelink from Jan 2005 –Sep 2007 before becoming a Mortgages Manager and then a Money Transfers Manager in 2010 Mr. Bindura holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from the National University of Science and Technology. He has an Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management and Trade Finance, an Advanced Diploma in Property and Financial Services and an  Associate Diploma with the Institute Of Bankers in South Africa. Mr Bindura also holds a Master of Commerce degree in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance from Midlands State University (MSU) and a Master of Science in Insurance and Risk Management from the National University of Science and Technology.

Prior to her appointment,  Miss Chikwanda held many positions from  April 2005 with the most recent one being that of Operations Manager for the Southern Region from . She holds a Master of Science degree in Marketing from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). Currently she is studying towards a PHD in Strategic Management. Driven by passion and strong conviction in all she does, outside her business interests she is also active in assisting the underprivileged children with grooming and training which helps them realize their God given purpose. Her Hobbies are sight-seeing and reading novels.
